The affected products were manufactured by Lupin Pharmaceuticals and include ramipril capsules in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg strengths. The FDA stated that the recall was issued out of caution, as ingredients from uninspected facilities may not meet required safety and quality standards. No adverse health events linked to the recalled medication have been reported so far.
