Megan Moroney is turning up the heat as she rolls out new music from her upcoming album Cloud 9, and her latest release, “Wish I Didn’t,” offers a confident, sharp-tongued glimpse into what fans can expect. Right from the start, Moroney frames her love interest as trouble. She sings about a man with a well-known reputation, weighed down by stories from the women who came before her. Drawing inspiration from the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the video escalates into a dramatic dinner-table showdown as the two characters secretly plot against each other.

Throughout the video, fans will spot subtle nods to Moroney’s pink-themed Cloud 9 era, including her signature pink Jeep, the number nine on her door, and other hidden details sprinkled throughout the scenes.

“Wish I Didn’t” is the third song released from Moroney’s third studio album Cloud 9, set to arrive on February 20. It follows earlier releases “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things,” further building anticipation for the 15-track project. The album is also set to feature collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves, adding to the excitement surrounding the release.

To accompany the album rollout, Moroney recently teased the full track list in a stylish video that shows her stepping off a jet and looking skyward as the song titles appear written in the clouds.

Beyond the studio, Moroney is preparing to take Cloud 9 on the road. Beginning in May, she’ll launch THE CLOUD 9 TOUR, a 49-date international headline run that will bring her to major venues across North America, Europe, and the UK.
