Former Tour Violinist Files Lawsuit Against Will Smith Over Alleged Misconduct
Actor and musician Will Smith has been named in a lawsuit filed by a male violinist who previously performed on tour with him. The plaintiff, Brian King Joseph, alleges sexual harassment and wrongful termination, accusations Smith has firmly denied.

Joseph, who has appeared on America’s Got Talent, claims Smith engaged in what he describes as “predatory behavior,” alleging that he was intentionally “groomed and primed” for potential sexual exploitation.
According to the lawsuit, Joseph first collaborated with Smith during a live performance in December 2024. Following that appearance, Smith allegedly invited him to join a 2025 tour and participate in work on an upcoming album.

The complaint claims Smith told Joseph they shared a “special connection” and repeatedly encouraged one-on-one interactions during the tour.
Joseph further alleges that during the tour, he returned to his hotel room to find it had been accessed without his permission. Inside, he reportedly discovered a handwritten note, wipes, and a bottle of HIV medication. The note allegedly read:
“Brian, I’ll be back no later [sic] 5:30, just us,” accompanied by a drawn heart and signed “Stone F.”
Joseph claims the discovery led him to believe that an unknown individual intended to return to his room for sexual activity. He alleges that only members of Smith’s management team had access to his hotel room.

In the days following the incident, Joseph states he was subjected to pressure and humiliation by management and was eventually removed from the tour, resulting in the termination of his contract.
Smith’s legal representative has rejected the claims in full, stating that the allegations are false and without merit. The attorney emphasized that Smith categorically denies all accusations and intends to pursue all available legal options to contest the lawsuit and establish the truth.
Representatives for Smith have been contacted for further comment as the case proceeds.
