Former NFL quarterback and sports commentator Tim Tebow, together with his wife Demi-Leigh Tebow — former Miss Universe and passionate advocate — are celebrating the most meaningful victory of their lives: becoming parents. Meet Daphne Reign Tebow

Soon after, the couple revealed their daughter’s name and shared the first precious photos. They chose the name Daphne Reign Tebow, rich with both family and spiritual significance.

• Daphne honors Demi-Leigh’s late great-aunt, a woman she describes as “tiny, kind, strong, and full of faith,” who was like a grandmother figure in her life. “I always told my mom, ‘I want to be just like Ouma Daphne one day,’” she explained.

• Reign reflects the couple’s Christian faith and the belief that every child of God is called not to reign by power, but by love, identity, and purpose. It was also inspired by a little girl deeply loved by the Tebows.

Baby Daphne made her debut weighing 8.85 pounds and measuring 21 inches long, arriving at 2:02 p.m.

The Tebows also shared a series of intimate black-and-white hospital photos, giving fans a glimpse into the sacred moment. One image shows Daphne swaddled peacefully, another captures her wearing a big pink bow, while others highlight the pure joy of Tim and Demi-Leigh kissing their newborn with overwhelming love.

Tim and Demi-Leigh first met in 2018, later marrying in January 2020. Earlier this year, they announced they were expecting, delighting fans with a heartfelt gender reveal in March that used pink paint and Bible verses to celebrate the news.

Now, with Daphne’s arrival, the couple says their prayers have been answered. “Our biggest prayer over her is to reign in God’s purpose for her life,” Demi-Leigh reflected, capturing the deep faith at the heart of their family.
