After years of studying the Amazon rainforest and watching its destruction firsthand, he came up with an extreme plan to capture global attention: allow himself to be swallowed alive by an anaconda.
The Daring Experiment
Rosolie’s idea was not a death wish but a calculated stunt. The goal was to demonstrate the sheer power of the giant snake while sparking urgent conversations about the Amazon’s fragile ecosystem. To survive the ordeal, he wore a specially designed protective suit, complete with reinforced plating, a built-in oxygen supply, and cameras to capture every horrifying second from inside the predator’s coils.
The event, filmed for a Discovery Channel documentary, involved Rosolie deliberately provoking a massive anaconda in the wild. And the snake responded exactly as nature intended.
Gripped by the Predator
The reptile struck quickly, sinking its teeth into Rosolie’s arm before wrapping its muscular coils around his body. “I’m getting coils over me,” he gasped to his team. “She’s got my arms pinned. She knows there’s nothing I can do.”
As the snake squeezed tighter, Rosolie’s heart rate spiked, his breathing grew strained, and despite the suit’s protection, the pressure was overwhelming. Moments later, his fear outweighed his determination.
“I’m calling it! I need help,” he shouted.
The team rushed in to free him before the snake could begin swallowing him whole.
