Couple Dies in Tragic Highway Collision Near La Reforma
A devastating crash early this morning on the Juan Pablo Segundo Highway, near the La Reforma entrance on the Samaná road, claimed the life of one man and left multiple people injured.
The Victims
The deceased has been identified as Jorge Iván Cáceres Fernández, a resident of Moca, who was behind the wheel of a white Ford SUV at the time of the accident.
Also in the vehicle was Vilma Santana, who suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to initial reports, the SUV collided with a rice transport truck. While the truck’s passengers escaped with only minor injuries, the impact proved fatal for Cáceres.
