Tragedy in Northwich: Missing Mother of Three Rachel Booth Found Dead in Lake
The community of Northwich is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Rachel Booth, a 38-year-old mother of three, who was confirmed dead days after she was reported missing. Her body was found in a lake near Delamere Lake Holiday Park, bringing a tragic end to an intensive search effort that gripped the local area.
Rachel was last seen in the early hours of Saturday, July 19. Family members reported her missing after she left the Barnton area, sparking immediate concern. CCTV later captured her at a gas station in Northwich around 3:50 a.m.—roughly five miles from her home—where she purchased wine and milk. Authorities launched a large-scale search, including underwater search teams, following the missing persons report. On Monday, July 21, their efforts led to the discovery of a woman’s body in a lake near the holiday park. Police have since confirmed the body as that of Rachel Booth.
