Some moments are just too funny not to share—and this one’s a gem!
So here’s the scene: I recently took my 92-year-old dad out to the mall to pick up a new pair of shoes. After shopping, we grabbed lunch at the food court to rest a bit.
While we were eating, I noticed Dad couldn’t take his eyes off the young guy sitting at the table next to us. This teen’s hair was a full-on rainbow—spiked and dyed in loud shades of green, red, orange, and blue. Definitely an attention-grabber.
Every time the teen glanced our way, he caught my dad staring. This went on for a while—glance, stare, repeat. You could feel the tension building.
Finally, the teen had enough. He looked straight at my dad and snapped, “What are you staring at, old man?”
Without skipping a beat, my dad replied:
“Sorry, kid. I wasn’t sure if you were something I saw at a circus or my old TV having a meltdown.”
Let’s just say… I nearly choked on my fries. 🤣
