Bride Orchestrates Husband’s Murder During Honeymoon, Police Reveal Chilling Plot
What began as a romantic honeymoon quickly turned into a nightmare—and now a chilling murder mystery has gripped India.
At first, investigators believed Raj Kushwaha, allegedly romantically involved with the bride, Sonam, might have orchestrated the killing of her husband, Raja. But as the investigation unfolded, an even more disturbing truth emerged: Sonam herself was the architect of the entire crime.
Authorities allege Sonam deceived Raj with promises of love, convincing him to help execute her plan. She recruited three others—Vishal Singh, Anand Kurmi, and Akash Rajput—reportedly offering them cash in exchange for their role in Raja’s murder.
Using her knowledge of Raja’s movements, Sonam pinpointed his location and guided the group. Police say the attack likely occurred sometime between May 23 and 24, when Raja was ambushed and pushed into a gorge.
Believing their relationship was genuine, Raj returned to Indore expecting a new life with Sonam. But the betrayal didn’t end there—unbeknownst to him, Sonam was also involved with a third man and allegedly intended to have Raj eliminated next.
Authorities say the case cracked wide open with mobile phone data that placed Sonam at the center of the operation. She was taken into custody on June 8 and later confessed.
The case has shocked the nation, revealing a dark and calculated web of lies, greed, and cold-blooded manipulation behind what was supposed to be a sacred bond of marriage.
